Entering names

Use the alphanumeric keypad to enter names in the phonebook.
For instance to enter the name Paul

Enter a pause

If your D1011 is connected to a switchboard, you may need to enter a
pause in a stored number. This gives the switchboard time to get an
outside line. A Pause is normally stored after the switchboard access
code (e.g. 9)
1. When storing a number, press and hold
You can then continue storing the phone number.

View an entry

In standby:

1. Press

2. Enter the first letter of the name to search alphabetically then scroll

to the exact entry. The name is displayed.

3. Press
to display the number. If there are more than 12 digits,

again to see the rest of the number.

to return to standby.
During a call:

twice to open the phonebook menu.
2. Enter the first letter of the name you want then scroll
necessary to the exact name. Press
