If you notice any damage or contamination before doffing:
• Avoid contact without protective equipment.
• Avoid any contact of the contaminated garment with your belongings, vehicles, etc.
• Put the garment in a sealed case and label it.
• Inform your supervisor or employer.
• Do not use the garment before the problem is solved.
• Destroy the contaminated garment according to the local/international standards and/or
regulations.
• If the garment is going to be used again, a proper cleaning procedure is required beforehand.
FOR CLEANING AND DECONTAMINATION
Performance level of your garment can be adversely affected easily.
Please care to keep the garment clean.
Cleaning instructions can be found on the label. Please check the labelling and
marking for detailed information.
• After firefighting, the firefighter uniform shall be washed as soon as possible, and shall be
cleaned of dirt and air-dried to avoid mold or bacteria growth.
• Wash in the washing machine using neutral detergent and do not wash with other clothes.
• Take care so that washing does not exceed 40
• The maximum number of washes is 5.
• When washing, care shall be taken to protect zipper, button and metal parts.
• When it is air-dried, please avoid exposure to sunshine or fluorescent light to avoid damage to
the clothing due to UV.
• Do not dry it using a dry machine.
• For serious dirt such as oil stain and blood stain etc, please spread dry cleaning agent on it
before washing.
• Rub with hand or brush and wash it with clean water.
• After removing blood stain, please treat it with disinfector.
• Iron your garments at maximum 110
