    Z3-MVE-100 V1.05.01a 1.0 GENERAL INFORMATION The Z3-MVE-100 1080p60 HD Video Encoder and Streamer is a compact 280mm x 165mm system that supports H.264 High Profile encode and decode up to 1080p at 60 frames per second. This solution is well-suited for applications such as low cost broadcast encoders, low bandwidth video security, satellite uplinks, remote monitoring, and industrial applications.

    (2) Connect an Ethernet cable to “Ethernet” on the Z3-MVE-100 (see Figure 4). Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable directly to a PC. You will use this PC to control the Z3-MVE-100 and to decode the output stream.

    Setting Up the Control PC (4) Set the PC IP address to one that can communicate with the Z3-MVE-100 (a) Find the IP address of the Z3-MVE-100. It can be found on the sticker on the bottom of the Z3-MVE-100. It should be 192.168.81.68.

    (6) Wait around 30 seconds to 1 minute. (7) Open a web browser (FireFox is recommended). Type in http://192.168.81.68. You should then see the Z3-MVE-100 Configuration Menu (if you don’t see this, please see the Troubleshooting section on page 30).

    (3) Connect “HDMI Out” of the Z3-MVE-100 with an HDMI cable to an HDMI monitor. (4) The control PC should still have the Web GUI of the Z3-MVE-100. If the encoder is still running from the previous demo, click “Stop” just to the left of “Start” (Figure 10).

This can be done with the steps described below.

    This section lists the known issues with this software release. (1) When using the Z3-MVE-100 for RTP decode, audio will not be output. If audio decode is required it is recommended that MPEG-2 TS be used as the streaming format.

    TROUBLESHOOTING Problem: Web interface does not come up -Is the Ethernet cable plugged into the Z3-MVE-100 solidly (do you see the link light on the Ethernet cable which indicates data is being transmitted)? -Does the Z3-MVE-100 IP address and PC IP address have the same first 2 values (or, if netmask is set to 255.255.255.0, the same first 3 values)?
