     The ZEUS Z3-DME-10 is a cost-optimized, compact 116 x 115 mm system that allows HEVC/H.265 or H.264 encode of HD video (up to 1080p60) through SDI or HDMI inputs, and encode of SD video through a composite input. It allows users to quickly take video from any of those three sources and stream them to the web or internal clients/PCs via UDP, RTP or RTSP .

    This section gives step-by-step instructions on HEVC/H.265 encoding with the Z3-DME-10 and streaming 1080p or 1080i video to VLC media player running on your PC. In addition to the Z3-DME-10, an HD video source with non-HDCP HDMI output and a PC with VLC media player are required. Encoding with an SDI or a composite source is described in Sections 6.12 and 6.13.

    6.3 Access the User Interface using ZFinder ZFinder is a PC Utility that allows you to find any Z3 Technology product on your network. If you have not downloaded this to your computer, you can find it on the USB drive provided with your system.

    7.4.1 Update Via the User Interface The Z3-DME-10 supports updating of firmware through the user interface. You will need an update file provided by Z3 Technology. You can find the software originally loaded on your encoder on the USB drive provided with your system.
