WARNINGS
NEVER install any child restraint (eg.
baby capsule, child seat or booster
seat) in the front seat where a
passenger airbag is fitted, as a serious
injury or death may result from the force
of the inflating front passenger airbag.
On hot days, the temperature inside
the vehicle can rise very quickly.
Exposure of people or animals to
these high temperatures for even a short
time can cause death or serious heat
related injuries, including brain damage.
Small children are particularly at risk.
Safety belts and seats can become
hot in a vehicle that has been closed
up in sunny weather, they could burn
a small child. Check seat covers and
buckles before you place a child anywhere
near them.
Read and follow the child restraint
manufacturer s instructions when
you are fitting a child restraint.

and must be properly fitted and
adjusted. Rearward facing restraints
are suitable for babies, and forward
facing child restraints are suitable for
small children. Use the child restraint

provided with the child restraint. If you
have any doubts, contact the child
restraint manufacturer or consult an
approved Restraint Fitting Station.
3. The child restraint system should
