3-4. VI DEO SYSTEM ADJUSTMENT
As a general rule, video system adjustment should be
performed in the following order.
Adjustment Order
1 ) Y FM Carrier Frequency Adj ustment
2 ) Y FM Deviation Adjustment
3) AC Clip Adjustment
4) REC Y Recording Current Adjustment

Mode: Recording
Frequency counter: YM-2 board pin
Adjustment Procedure:
1 ) Connect YM-2 board pin
( REG GND) with a jumper.
2 ) Set RV5 04 on YM-2 board t o mechanical center.

3 ) Turn RVS OS o n YM- 2 board a n d adjust to 4 . 3 8 ±0.02
MHz. ( Fig. 3 - 1 0)
4) Perform "3-4-3 . AC Clip Adjustment" after completing
adjustment.

Mode: Recording
Subject: Color-bar chart (standard frame)
Adjustment Procedure:
1 ) Record the color-bar chart.
2) Play back the recorded tape on playback equipment
<EV-A300, EV-S700, etc.).
3) Confirm that VIDEO OUT level is 1 .00.::_

Refer to the Service Manual for the playback equipment,
"VIDEO OUT Level Adjustemnt" for the check method.
If t h e specifications are not satisfied, turn RV5 03 on
