The following techniques can be used to reduce interference problems:
1. Move the equipment away from the device receiving the
interference.
2. Reposition the receiving antenna for the device receiving the
interference.
3. Try combinations of the above.
3.2 Intended use
The Hach DR1300 FL is intended for use by water treatment
professionals who need to make sure that there is a consistently-low
level of free and total chlorine in process water. The DR1300 FL is
used to monitor free and total chlorine levels to prevent damage to
product quality and prevent equipment damage caused by chlorine.
In addition, the DR1300 FL is intended for use by water treatment
professionals who use sodium bisulfite for dechlorination. The
DR1300 FL is used to monitor sulfite at the end of the dechlorination
process to make sure that the dechlorination process is efficient.
3.3 Product overview
Keep magnetic sensitive devices a minimum of 2 inches from the sample port
cover to prevent damage or data loss.
The DR1300 FL fluorometer measures ultra low-range total chlorine,
free chlorine and sulfite in water.
