OPERATING THE DEVICE

Switch ON the Soldering Station 75 at the main power switch.
1. Setting the temperature:
Press "▲/▼" button on the control panel to adjust the desired temperature.
2. Setting the Sleep mode:
In the boot state, press the temperature "▲/▼" button three seconds, "L00" appears in the display (L00
= no sleep function, L01 = sleep time is 1 minute), then press the temperature "▲/▼" buttons to set the
sleep time. To store the new settings, you need to stop operating four seconds, the program save and
exit setting mode. Sleep Time setting range is from 0 to 99 minutes.
Exiting Sleep mode:
A. Pick up the iron to exit the sleep mode.
B. Press the "▲/▼" button.
C. Turn OFF the power switch, and then turn ON the power switch.
3. Setting the AUTO-OFF mode:
In the boot state, press the "▲/▼" button three seconds twice, "P00" appears in the display (P00 indi-
cates no AUTO-OFF, P01 automatic shut down time is 1 minute), then press the "▲/▼" buttons to set
AUTO-OFF time. To store the new settings, you need to stop operating four seconds, the program save
and exit setting mode. AUTO-OFF time can be set from 0 to 99 minutes.
4. Celsius / Fahrenheit temperature display feature set:
In the boot state, press the "▲/▼" button three seconds three times, "C" appears in the display (C =
Celsius state, F = Fahrenheit state), press the "▲/▼" buttons to set the Celsius / Fahrenheit state. To
save the new settings, you need to stop operating four seconds, the program save and exit setting
mode.

MAINTENANCE AND USE

1. Coat the tin-plated soldering tip with solder when heating the iron for the first time as this will remove
any oxide films or impurities from the soldering tip that have accumulated during storage.
2. During pauses between soldering and before storing the soldering iron, ensure that the soldering tip is
well-coated and seated correctly. Select the lowest possible working temperature, Coat the soldering
tip well to ensure efficient heat transfer between the soldering tip and soldering point apply the solder
directly at the soldering point, not on the soldering tip. Do not use aggressive fluxing agents.
3. Also monitor the iron temperature when it is in sleep mode, the temperature should not exceed 250°C
and the AUTO-OFF timer should be set to 20 minutes max. Elevated temperatures for long periods of
time leads to an accelerated aging or deterioration of the heating element, the handle of the soldering
iron, its support, and an oxidation of the tip.
4. If the tip is deformed or highly oxidized, it must be replaced by a new.
(Note: Do not use any metal blade to scrape the tip.)
5. Soldering, do not give iron tips too much pressure, this will not change the thermal conductivity, but will
damage the iron tip.
High soldering temperature can degrade the tip. Use the lowest possible soldering temperature.
Tip
The excellent thermal recovery characteristics ensure efficient and effective soldering even at low
temperature
temperatures. This also protects the items from thermal damage.
Clean the tip regularly with the cleaning sponge. Oxides and carbides from the solder and flux can
form impurities on the tip. These impurities can result in defective joints or reduce the tips heat con-
Cleaning
ductivity. When using the soldering iron continuously, be sure to loosen the tip and remove all oxides
at least once a week. This helps prevent reduction of the tip temperature.
When not
Never leave the soldering iron sitting at high temperature for long periods of time, otherwise the tip's
in use
plating will become covered with oxide, which can greatly reduce the tip's heat conductivity.
After use
Clean the tip and coat it with new solder.
