Procedure
• Step 1. Place new filter set near the unit.
Keep the plastic bag of the new cartridge
for wrapping up the old one.
• Step 2. Shut off the condensate feed to
the unit.
• Step 3. Remove the QWIK-PURE
star grip screw caps)
• Step 4. Open the service valve and let
the liquid drain off to below the level of
the cartridge.
• Step 5. Remove the pre-filter and filter
mat from the pressure relief chamber.
• Step 6. Grab hold of the filter handles
(located inside of container) and slowly
pull the old main filter out of the container,
turn filters counterclockwise by 45°, place
on the top edge of the container and allow
to drain.
• Step 7. Remove the handles and fit them
onto the new replacement main filter.
• Step 8. Once the cartridge has drained
place it in the plastic bag and dispose of
the unit according to your local regula-
tions.
• Step 9. Thoroughly clean the main tank
area with non-abrasive and surfactant-
free cleaner
• Step 10. Insert the new main filter into
the container by using the handles, and
introduce two thirds of the container in a
downward direction. When encountering
a noticeable resistance, manually push
into the final position. Snap handles into
place at the side of the filter receptacle.
• Step 11. Insert the new filter mat into the
pressure relief chamber
• Step 12. MUST BE COMPLETED before
introducing compressed air condensate
to unit. Pour water into main unit from the
top.
• Step 13. Stop poring the water (approx.
20 gallon for the QWIK-PURE
gallons for the QWIK-PURE
it starts to come out at the water outlet
that is located on the side of the unit.
• Step 14. Wait approximately 5 mins so the
cartridge will adsorb some of the water &
add additional water to the unit until you
see water coming out of the outlet again.
Once this has been accomplished the unit
will be recharged.
• Step 15. Insert the new pre-filter above
the main filter and fit onto the guide pipe
when closing the housing lid.
• Step 16. Tighten down the 3 star grip
screws (black cap)
• Step 17. Turn on the condensate outlet
valve
• Step 18. You know can introduce conden-
sate into unit via the inlet hose connector
on side.
