Os elementos de aquecimento têm um revestimento protector. Uma quantidade de vapor pode ser produzida durante a operação inicial. Isto não é prejudicial e não afecta o desempenho do aparelho. Por conseguinte, ao utilizar o aparelho pela primeira vez, operá-lo vazio durante 10 minutos a 150°C (programa AIRFRY) depois durante 10 minutos a 200°C (programa AIRFRY) e depois deixá-lo ventilar e arrefecer completamente. - Page 141 Escovar as batatas frescas com um pouco de óleo antes de as fritar para as tornar estaladiças.
