11) From the "Flows" menu select "Air" using the green enter key.
12) In order to reduce the 100% methane reading, select a lower air flow value (i.e. if the Air flow
value was found to be 175 cc/min select, for example, 165 cc/min). To do this, use the left arrow
to erase the value, then manually enter the new value using the number pad. In the same way, if
the 100% reading is too low, increase the air flow to increase the value. Press the green arrow,
then the red arrow two times until you are in the regular measuring display mode.
13) The reading should now be closer to 100% than the previous value. Since the flow has been
modified, the 10% reading value might have been diminished as well, so another span
calibration is required. Skip the zero step by pressing the red escape key after selecting
"Calibrate Now". After the span calibration has been performed again, the machine will switch
back to the measuring mode and display the reading for the 100% calibration gas that is being
applied.
14) Repeat the process until the machine reads 10% +/- 0.05 for 10% methane and 96% +/- 0.5% for
100% methane.
