At the first sign of any abnormality, immediately stop using the instrument and perform the required actions as described in "Troubleshooting" (page 124). The thumbnail screen is useful when finding a particular image among a large group of images or when selecting multiple images to move and delete at a time.

Constant video is a feature that automatically records movies up to about 50 minutes while the live screen is displayed. The constant video can be recorded on a microSDHC card. Use the microSDHC card recommended by Olympus. microSD and microSDXC cards cannot be used. Make sure that the microSDHC card is correctly loaded before use.

The gravity direction icon expresses the surface that is cut vertically against the inserting direction of the distal end of the insertion tube. The brown area indicates the ground side (gravity direction) and the blue area indicates the sky side (direction opposite to gravity). The white circle in the icon indicates the center of the ground side (gravity direction) and the red circle indicates the center of the sky side (direction opposite to gravity).

5.2.3 Registering a text string as a preset title Registering the frequently used text strings as preset titles in advance allows you to recall them when you input the titles. You can register a maximum of 54 text strings for preset titles. Input the text string you want to register in the title field.

Registering a preset title overwrites anything currently in the line you specify in the list. You can, therefore, delete a preset title by registering the title input field keeping it blank.
