8. Canopy Assembly.
Raise canopy to hanging bracket, aligning
loosened screws in hanging bracket with
slotted holes in canopy. Twist canopy to
lock. Insert screws (with washers) that were
previously removed (on page 4, Section 4)
and secure all screws with a Phillips
screwdriver.
9. Blade Attachment.
Locate 15 C-clips in hardware
pack.
Align holes in one of the blades
with blade arm posts on one of
the blade arms. Press down on
the blade firmly so the blade arm
posts come through the holes in
the blade. [CAUTION: Be careful
not to use so much force that the
blade arm bends.] Then, slide a
C-clip onto each blade arm post.
Repeat for each blade.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of
personal injury, make sure the
friction detents on the C-clips
face down and recessed grooves
face up. One
C-clip should slide
completely under each blade arm
post so edges of blade arm posts
are captured by the recessed
groove on the C-clips.
