Descaling
To ensure that your appliance continues to operate cor-
rectly, it must be descaled regularly.
How frequently you need to run the descaling pro-
gramme depends on the water hardness and how
many times you have used the steam-assisted opera-
tions. By showing
on the display, the appliance indic-
ates when only another 5 or fewer steam-assisted oper-
ations are possible. If you do not carry out descaling,
you can no longer set any operation with steam.
Descaling will take around 32 minutes in total.
Descaling consists of two automatic steps.
¡ Descaling, duration approx. 31 minutes
¡ Rinse cycle after descaling, duration ap-
prox. 1 minute
For reasons of hygiene, the descaling programme must
be run in full.
If you interrupt the descaling programme, you can no
longer set any operation with steam. To ensure that the
appliance is ready for operation again, run the rinse
cycle.
