Typical
Before installing your Ethernet card you should set some time aside
to plan your network. You should consider amongst other things the
number of workstations and the physical distances between them. A
typical network layout is as shown below:
Thin coax
The PCL-843 can be connected to a network via two different media
types. The cards auto-sensing function can immediately detect which
type of media it is connected to. The card supports 10BASE-2 and
10BASE-T connectors as shown below:
