17. Chromecast

The Nokia Smart TV has Chromecast is built-in. It allows you to cast content from Apps on your mobile device
straight to your TV. Please make sure that your mobile device is connected to the same network as your TV.
Chromecast also enables you to wirelessly mirror the screen of your device to your TV using the screen
mirroring application installed on your mobile device. When the App supports the Chromecast function, tap the
Chromecast symbol on your Android device. Available devices will be detected and listed. Select your TV from
the list and tap on it to start streaming.
To cast your device's screen to the TV screen
1. On your Android device, go to 'Settings' from the notification panel or Home screen
2. Tap on 'Device Connectivity'
3. Tap on the 'Easy projection' and enable 'Wireless projection'. Available devices will be listed
4. Select the Nokia Smart TV

1. Slide down the notification panel
2. Tap on 'Wireless projection'
3. Select the Nokia Smart TV
If the mobile app supports Chromecast feature, such as YouTube, Dailymotion, Netflix, you can cast your app to
your TV. On the mobile app, look for the Chromecast icon and tap on it. Available devices will be detected and
listed. Select your Nokia Smart TV from the list and tap on it to start casting.
To cast an app to the TV screen
1. On your smartphone or tablet, open an app that supports Chromecast
2. Tap the Chromecast icon
3. Select the Nokia Smart TV
4. The app you selected should start playing on the Nokia Smart TV
Notes:
Chromecast works on Android and iOS. Make sure that your mobile device is connected to the same network
as your TV.
The menu options and naming for Chromecast function on your Android device can differ from brand to brand
and can change with time. Please refer to your mobile device's manual for latest information on Chromecast
function.
