sudden impacts.
2. Do not bend or chew the tip of the thermometer.

the measurement procedure. Keep out of the reach of children.
5. The measuring fluid (a mixture of gallium, tin and indium;
hereinafter: "fluid") must not come into contact with precious
or light metals as is reacts to them.

INSTRUCTIONS ON USE
1. Prior to measuring the temperature, make sure that the gallium
value is below 36°C on the measuring scale.
2. The thermometer shall be placed depending on the method
of measuring the temperature (axillary, rectal or oral).
3. The thermometer measures the body temperature for about 5
minutes. You can then read the measured value. Gently turn the
Holder
thermometer to make it easier to read the temperature value.
4. Reset the liquid below 36°C after measuring has been carried
out by returning the thermometer to the housing and making
sure the tip of the thermometer is attached to the housing
cover (shown in Image 1). Make sure the housing is well
closed. Then grab the holder of the housing and shake it with
fast rhythmic movements (Image 2) so the liquid falls under
the first numbered line.

5. Clean the glass thermometer after use. Please follow the
Cleaning instructions carefully.
Note: Always disinfect the thermometer before and after use.
Professional staff must always provide for disinfection in hospitals.
RELIABLE WAYS OF TEMPERATURE MEASURING
ORAL - Measuring time: At least 5 minutes, normal temperature
at 37°C. Put the end of the thermometer tip under the tongue and
breathe through your nose so the measurements is accurate. Oral
measuring is permitted for children aged 10 years or more. Do
not chew, talk or play when measuring the temperature in your
mouth. Avoid bathing, feeding and smoking for at least half an
hour before temperature measuring.
RECTAL - Measuring time: At least 5 minutes, normal tempera-
ture at 37.5°C. Gently insert the thermometer tip not more than
0.5cm deep into the anal orifice. Stop immediately if you feel
resistance. Do not use lubricant. If measuring body temperature
of a baby, place the baby on a hard surface and lift its legs almost
perpendicularly and hold it by the ankles to keep it still. Insert the
thermometer tip very gently into the anal orifice.
AXILLARY - Measuring time: Minimum 5 minutes and a nor-
mal temperature at 36.7°C. Make sure the armpit is dry. Then
put the thermometer tip under the armpit and press your hand
against the chest.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
The thermometer has hermetically sealed hygienic glass hous-
ing and can be disinfected without restrictions. For disinfection,
Mediblink M140 alcohol wipes are recommended.
