Know how to disconnect the power to the range at the circuit breaker or fuse box in case of an emergency. • User servicing—Do not repair or replace any part of the appliance unless specifically recommended in the manuals.

    Using proper cookware Single Radiant Surface Elements (all models) To Operate a Single Radiant Element: 1. Place correctly sized cookware on radiant surface element. 2. Push in and turn the surface control knob in either direction to the desired setting (Refer to the Suggested Radiant Surface Element Settings Table, Figs.
  • Page 9 Do not place plastic items such as salt and pepper shakers, spoon holders or plastic wrappings on top of the range when it is in use. These items could melt or ignite. Potholders, towels or wooden spoons could catch fire if placed too close to the surface elements.

Buff with a non-abrasive cloth or no-scratch cleaning pad. This will make cleaning easier when soiled from cooking. The special cooktop cleaning cream leaves a protective finish on the glass to help prevent scratches and abrasions.
