The cooktop has 2, 3 or 4 SINGLE radiant surface elements. to operate the single radiant surface elements 1. Place correctly sized cookware on the radiant surface element. 2. Push in and turn the surface control knob in either direction to the desired setting (Figure 1). -

- Excellent heat conductor. Some types of food will cause it to darken (Anodized aluminum cookware resists staining & pitting). If aluminum pans slide across the ceramic glass cooktop, they may leave metal marks which will resemble scratches. Remove these marks immediately. -

For light to moderate soil: Apply a few drops of CookTop® Cleaning Creme directly to the cooktop. Use a paper towel or use a non- abrasive plastic type no-scratch pad to clean the entire cooktop surface. Make sure the cooktop is cleaned thoroughly, leaving no residue. -

Incorrect control setting. Raise or lower setting until proper amount of heat is obtained. scratches or Coarse particles (such as salt or sand) are between cooktop and utensil. Be sure cooktop abrasions on ceramic surface and bottom of utensils are clean before use. Small scratches do not affect cooking glass cooktop and will become less visible with use. -
