wise). Tighten the Safety Lock Nut
(clockwise) finger tight, then snug
it with one turn using an adjustable
wrench (not supplied).
WarninG! the hold down bar must
rest firmly and evenly against the
top of the paint container. Once
the shaking (agitation) begins, the
container, if it is not held secure,
may fly off the Paint Shaker caus-
ing the paint to spill out, and/or
causing serious personal injury.
6. Turn the Knob (31) on the Timer (32)
clockwise to three minutes (usually
good for most uses), or any position
up to fifteen minutes (maximum used
for paint that has been allowed to set-
tle for long periods). The Timer will
run down to "zero" and shut off auto-
matically. NOTE: If a shorter period
is needed of if you need to stop the
Electric Paint Shaker for any reason,
simply manually rotate the Knob (31)
counter clockwise to its OFF position.
7. Always wait till the Electric Paint
Shaker stops completely before re-
moving the paint container.
8. To remove the paint container, back
off the Safety Lock Nut (44) and
turn the Adjustment Knob Assembly
counterclockwise till tension on the
Hold Down Bar is released allowing it
to slide up the Slide Tubes. Slide the
paint container out sideways.
9. When finished using the Electric Paint
Shaker, disconnect its power supply,
wipe down all exterior surfaces with a
soft, clean cloth, then store the appli-
ance indoors out of children's reach.
