FUEL TANK STRAINER

Do not smoke, and keep away form open
flames, sparks, or any other source of fire
when handling or in the vicinity of fuel.
1. Remove:
9 Feel cock lever
9 Rear cover
9 Fuel tank cap
9 Top cover
9 Side cover right
9 Side cover left
Refer to "COVERS AND FUEL TANK".
2. Drain the fuel from the fuel tank com-
pletely.
3. Remove:
9 Fuel tank
9 Fuel hose
9 Fuel cock 1
4. Inspect:
9 Fuel tank strainer 1
Damage → Replace the fuel cock.
5. Clean:
9 Fuel tank strainer
Damage → Replace the fuel cock.
NOTE:
Clean the fuel tank strainer with solvent, and
then dry it thoroughly.
6. Install:
9 Fuel cock
7. Install:
9 Fuel hose
9 Fuel tank
9 Side cover left
9 Side cover right
9 Top cover
9 Fuel tank cap
9 Rear cover
9 Fuel cock lever
Refer to "COVERS AND FUEL TANK".
