3. Before Use 3.1 Charging the Battery Use the approved charger by the Company to charge the battery. Read the Safety Information Booklet before charging. 3.2 Attaching the Battery To remove the battery, make sure that the radio is turned off, and then slide the battery latch upwards to unlock the battery. 3.3 Attaching the Antenna Do not hold the radio by the antenna and swing it. 3.5 Attaching the Audio Accessory For optional waterproof and dustproof performance, do close the accessory connector cover and fasten the screw when no accessory is attached.
