Hood Release Lever and Latch

Opening the Hood:
1 . Pull the Hood
Release Lever

to unlatch the Hood

2 . In the front of the vehicle, lift
the Hood slightly, push the secondary
Latch to the left inside of the

Hood's center and
lift the Hood
Closing the Hood:
Lower the Hood about halfway
and then press down to securely
lock in place .

Lane Departure Warning System
(LDWS)*
If an unintentional lane change is detected,
LDWS may issue a warning on the LCD screen . *
With the Engine Start/Stop button in the ON
position, press the LDWS button
system ON . The instrument cluster indicator
will illuminate green . When vehicle exceeds
approximately 43 mph and the LDWS system
recognizes the lane the vehicle is traveling in,
the icon on will illuminate green .

With parking lights/headlights ON, press
button (+) or (-) to adjust the brightness of

the instrument panel illumination .
REMINDER: The Instrument Panel Dimmer does not
adjust brightness on the Navigation System screen . Use
Navigation setup to adjust brightness on the Navigation
System .
