Genoa halyard
The halyard comprises 2 parts; one
uncovered (which remains in position) and
one part covered (pulled when the sail is
hoisted).
Connect the two halyards with a lark's
head.
Once the sail is hoisted, disconnect the
covered halyard and connect the
tensioning tackle.

On the ground, pass the halyard through
the upper sheave of the swivel.
Once the sail is hoisted, disconnect the
covered halyard and connect the
tensioning tackle.
Attach the tensioning tackle to the fixing
plate with a twisted shackle.
Once the sail is hoisted, disconnect the
