    BIDIRECTIONAL LEVEL ITW     USER MANUAL 1. INTRODUCTION The manual you have is a guide to install correctly and make the start-up of the BIDIRECTIONAL LEVEL ITW range. These equipments are specially designed for the wireless Remote Control and teleprocessing. FM frequency and 2-GFSK codification are used for the radio transmission.

    BIDIRECTIONAL LEVEL ITW     USER MANUAL 2.2. BIDIRECTIONAL LEVEL ITW The function of the MASTER equipment is to manage the communication with the SLAVE. This equipment is establishing the initial communication. When connecting the first time the equipment is transmitting the state of the digital inputs and refreshing the state of its outputs activating/ deactivating the corresponding relays, depending on the state of the inputs in the SLAVE equipment.

  • Page 12 BIDIRECTIONAL LEVEL ITW     USER MANUAL INPUT Connection For models with analogical inputs, the value of the analogical inputs is configured on the factory with one of the following ranges : 0-20mA / 4-20mA / 0-5V / 0-10V, but depending on the model it can be changed through the jumpers of the following table.

    BIDIRECTIONAL LEVEL ITW     USER MANUAL OUTPUT Connection For models with analogical outputs, the value of the analog outputs is factory set to one of the following ranges: 0-20mA / 4-20mA / 0-5V / 0-10V. 2.3. START-UP After connecting all the elements (buoys, flow meters, control boxes of pumps, etc.) and further verification including the antenna, we will give voltage to the equipment.

CHANGE OF FREQUENCY In case that the system does not link correctly due to the interferences in the programmed frequency band, the working channel can be changed manually. NOTICE: THE CHANGE OF WORKING CHANNEL MUST BE DONE IN THE TRANSMITTER AND IN THE RECEIVER.

Be sure that the frequency band is the one that corresponds to the model of system you are handling, BAND -869 MHz / 406 MHz / 411 MHz If you select band 869MHz for a system manufactured to work at 406-411 MHz band or vice versa the system WON’T work.
