Troubleshooting

If a fault occurs, first check the list below before taking the radio for repair. If you
cannot solve a problem, please contact TEAC at 1300 553 315.
WARNING: DO NOT try to repair the unit yourself, as this will void the warranty.
PROBLEM
No Sound
The buttons on the unit are not

POSSIBLE CAUSE
Headphones may be connected.
The Volume might be set to low.
The power cord may not be
connected correctly/firmly
Electrostatic discharge or interference
from other electrical equipment
There is a weak aerial signal or
there may be interference from other
electrical equipment
You may not have DAB in your area

SOLUTION
Disconnect your Headphones from the
unit.
Adjust the volume level of the radio.
Reconnect the power cord firmly
Turn the unit off and disconnect the
Power Cord. Wait for 5 - 10 seconds,
reconnect and turn the unit back on
Reposition the aerial and the unit for
the best possible reception. Ensure the
aerial is connected.
Keep the unit away from other
electrical equipment where possible.
Rotate antenna and rescan channels.
Move the radio to a position with better
reception.
