    Battery insertion 1. Open the battery compartment on the bottom of the unit. 2. Remove the old batteries and insert 2 x AA/ LR06 batteries (alkaline batteries are recommended) into the battery compartment, following the correct polarities marked inside. 3. Replace the battery cover. Note: The battery can last for three years.
