7. Locate the parameter named USE_IP_PORT_NAME:
type YES
Make sure this parameter is set to YES.
8. Once the editing is complete, save the file as config
9. In the Command prompt window, upload the configuration file to the AXIS
1650 by typing
put config CONFIG
10. To exit FTP, type
quit
Note: This will also change the Print Server Name parameter so that
it is based on the print server's IP address, with "_" replacing the "."
in the address.
Example: If the print server's IP address is 192.168.3.191 the Print
Server Name parameter will be changed to 192_168_3_191.
It is important that the destination file is specified in capital letters.
Otherwise the edits are temporary and will be lost once the AXIS 1650 has
been rebooted.
