2100−1025−24 2100−1026−02 2100−1027−02 In this manual, these recorders are referred to as FA2100CVR, or CVR’s. Refer to FA2100GACVR In- stallation Manual (p/n: 165E1848−00) for the installation of the FA2100 General Aviation Cockpit Voice Recorders. This manual contains date sensitive information necessary to install these CVRs in the aircraft, to operate them, and to verify that the installed units are operating properly.
Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR). The FA2100CVRs may also be used to replace existing ARINC Charac- teristic 557 installations. The FA2100CVR System consists of the Recorder Unit, the Control Unit, a Preamplifier Module for in- stallations that do not require a Control Unit, an Area Microphone, and a Mounting Tray. Interconnec- tion between the recorder and control unit or external preamplifier is accomplished using aircraft wiring.
