(hddd°mm.mmm'). The following additional formats are
available: latitude/longitude in decimal degrees (hddd.
ddddd°) and latitude/longitude in degrees, minutes, and
seconds (hddd°mm'ss.s").
• Heading—sets the reference used in calculating heading
information for the Bearing, Compass, Course, and Track
Advanced Data fields (see page 39). True displays data
with reference to True North. Magnetic displays data with
reference to Magnetic North using the magnetic variation
value received in the RMC NMEA sentence (see page 17).

Time Tab

The Time tab enables you to display the current time and date,
adjust the 12 or 24-hour time format, enter a time zone, and adjust
for daylight saving time to show correct local time. The time
appears only if you are receiving valid NMEA input from a GPS
unit (see page 17) or if the Fishfinder is in Simulator mode.

SING THE
The following settings are available:
• Time Format—lets you choose from 12-hour, 24-hour
(military), or UTC (also called Greenwich Time) time
format.
• Time Zone—lets you choose your correct time zone to show
correct local time.
• Daylight Saving Time—lets you choose from Auto (not
always available), On, or Off to adjust for daylight saving
time.
• Current Time and Current Date—displays the current
time and date. These fields are blank if the Fishfinder is not
receiving a time from an attached GPS. It is not possible to
edit these fields.
