    TRUST 738AV LCD POWER VIDEO Note: Do not use old and new batteries at the same time, because the old batteries may leak and cause damage. Note: The batteries should be removed if the camera is not going to be used for some time.

    Insert four AA batteries into the camera as shown in the battery holder. Close the battery cover by sliding it closed. The TRUST 738AV LCD POWER VIDEO is now ready for use. Note: Only use non-rechargeable alkaline batteries or rechargeable NiMH 1600 mA (or higher) batteries.

    TRUST 738AV LCD POWER VIDEO The batteries are full. The batteries have sufficient power. The battery capacity is low. Only a few more photographs can be taken. The batteries are empty. Replace the batteries immediately if the symbol flashes red.

  • Page 13 Table 9: Advanced camera settings The TRUST 738AV LCD POWER VIDEO allows you to take high quality (fine) photographs and normal quality photographs. The resolution is the same, but the higher compression means that more photographs can be saved in the memory.

    TRUST 738AV LCD POWER VIDEO ‘Normal’ has the highest compression and requires the least memory space. ‘Fine’ is between 'Normal’ and ‘Best’. However, with the highest compression, it is possible for video clips to be deformed. 4.6.7 Macro setting Subjects at a distance of 30 to 40 centimetres from the camera and not focussed correctly.

Do not take photographs facing towards bright light (see figure 8). Tip: The number of photographs that can be saved in the internal memory depends on the number of details of the object to be photographed.
  • Page 16 TRUST 738AV LCD POWER VIDEO Tip: The maximum duration of the video clips that can be saved in the camera’s internal memory depends on their resolution. An approximation is given in table 12. Tip: The result is better if the camera is not moved or only moved slowly whilst recording.
  • Page 17 TRUST 738AV LCD POWER VIDEO Turn the camera on (see item 1 of the Quick Installation Guide). Turn the mode switch to the ‘Play’ position (B, figure 2). Use the direction button to scroll to the desired file. Press the record button for detailed information about the file: File name.

    TRUST 738AV LCD POWER VIDEO 4.8.4 Connecting the camera to a TV The camera can be connected to a TV. You can then play all the recordings (including sound recordings) on the TV. The LCD screen will be turned off. A standard RCA AV cable is supplied with the camera.

    The latest driver can be downloaded from www.trust.com/13807. Check whether a new driver is available and use this for the installation. The current version of the driver is included on the Trust Installation CD-ROM. Note: Make sure all other programs are closed during the installation.

    Select ‘Run’ from the Start menu. Type [D:\SETUP.EXE] and click on 'OK' to start the Trust Software Installer. The Trust Software Installer window will appear. See item 6 of the Quick Installation Guide. Select the language you wish to use for the installation.

    Follow the instructions below to install Photo Explorer 7.0. Start the Trust Software Installer (see chapter 5.2, points 1, 2 and 3). Item 6 of the Quick Installation Guide will be visible.
