    This instruction manual is for users of the Trust 350FT PowerC@m Flash. Basic knowledge of computers is necessary to be able to install this product. Please consult one of the Trust Customer Care Centers if you have any problems. The last page of this electronic instruction manual, as well as the back of the printed, quick installation manual, contains more information about these Customer Care Centers.

    General information Carefully read the following instructions before use. The Trust 350FT PowerC@m Flash does not require any special maintenance. Use a slightly damp, soft cloth to clean the camera. Do not use aggressive substances, such as petrol or white spirit, to clean the device. These may harm the material.

    Note: The camera will make a noise when the battery voltage becomes too low. 3. Close the battery flap again by gently pushing it and sliding it upwards. 4. The Trust 350FT PowerC@m Flash is now ready for use.

LED for the automatic exposure Flashes when a recording is made using the automatic exposure function.

    5. Using the camera Setting the resolution The Trust 350FT PowerC@m Flash can take photographs in two different resolutions, i.e. VGA (640 x 480, approx. 60 photographs) and CIF (320 x 240, approx. 190 photographs). The camera’s default setting is the VGA (640 x 480) resolution, which can be used to take approximately 60 photographs.

    TRUST 350FT POWERC@M FLASH Setting the Macro button The Trust 350FT PowerC@m Flash has a Macro function which is set by sliding the MACRO button (10) upwards or downwards. The functions are described in the table below. Standard mode (90 cm to infinity).

    Note: The video function only works in the low (CIF) resolution. The TRUST 350FT POWERC@M can be used to take a number of photographs, one after another, using the CONTINUOUS mode. 1. Turn the camera on by pressing the ON/OFF button (7). A beep will be heard when the camera is turned 2.

    This camera only works with this driver on a system using Windows 98 or later versions. This camera does not work on an Apple Mac with OS 8, 9 and Mac OSX. Note: The latest driver can be downloaded from www.trust.com/11336. Check whether a new driver is available and use this for the installation. Note: Make sure all other programs are closed during the installation.

    TRUST 350FT POWERC@M FLASH Trust Software Installer 1. Insert the CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive. The Trust Software Installer will start automatically. If the installation program does not start automatically, start 'Setup.exe' on the CD-ROM. Figure 4 will appear. The Trust Software Installer will appear in Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000 and Windows XP.

Start the Trust Software Installer again (see figure 4) so that you can install the other software. See chapter 7 for instructions on how to install the other software.

Double-click on the ‘System’ icon and select the ‘Device Manager’ tab. - Imaging Device – Trust 350FT PowerC@m Flash(Still camera) Trust 350FT PowerC@m Flash(video camera) ‘Start – Settings – Control Panel’ and then double-click on the ‘Add/Remove Programs’ icon.

    TRUST 350FT POWERC@M FLASH Mirrors the inserted photograph. G Moves the photograph (left, right, up, down). Increases or reduces the size of the photograph. Rotates the photograph clockwise or anticlockwise. Adds text. Zooms in or out. Colour settings (only works for coloured subjects).

    This function only works if the recording has been made in a hardware resolution of 640 x 480 (VGA). Video Impression 1.6 Video Impression 1.6 can be used to make video recordings with your TRUST 350FT POWERC@M FLASH. Note: This function only works if the camera has been connected to your PC using the USB cable provided with the camera.
