Press the band selector/world
time button (14). After that, the
LOCAL indicator will disappear
from the display and the second
indicator will stop blinking.

To choose the world time, use the
set hours (8) and set minutes (9)
buttons.

After looking at world times, the
current time will again appear and
the LOCAL indicator will return.

The time difference is shown
rounded up to one hour; the
minutes do not change. When
looking at world times, the
current time indicator disappears.

ALARM FUNCTION

1.
Press the set time/set alarm
(MODE) (13) button twice. After
that, this symbol will appear on
the screen and the alarm time will
blink.
2.
Press the set hours (8) and set
minutes (9) buttons or hold them
down for three seconds to make
the numbers change faster and
set the desired wakeup alarm
time.
3.
The alarm may be set while
listening to the radio.
4.
When the desired wakeup
time arrives, the alarm will
automatically activate.
5.
After the alarm has activated,
the receiver automatically turns
off in 90 minutes.

SLEEP TIMER FUNCTION

If the receiver is off, by pressing

the sleep timer button (7)
(SLEEP), you turn on the radio
and simultaneously the set sleep
timer menu will appear on the
display with the symbol SLEEP
and the number 90.

Holding down the SLEEP button,
set the desired time until receiver
shutoff. When the time comes,
the receiver automatically turns
off. The time system for setting
the Timer changes in increments:
90 80 70 60 50 40 30 20 10 – to
the current time (to cancel the
sleep timer).

Setting the sleep timer using the
SLEEP button (7) can be done
directly or while listening to the
radio.
4.
You can cancel the sleep timer
function by pressing the SLEEP
button (7) again then continue
listening to the program.
5.
To turn off the receiver
immediately, press the On/Off
button.

USING THE ANTENNA

Receiving MW band stations
Program reception in the MW band is
carried out with the help of an internal
magnetic antenna. To increase signal
reception quality, rotate the receiver
horizontally until the signal is strong
enough.
Receiving FM band stations
Program reception in the FM band is
carried out with the help of the tele-
scoping antenna. The antenna should
