The method for configuring the NAS b2000 v2 is to use the WebUI configuration
application that comes with the NAS b2000 v2.
The NAS b2000 v2 includes a WebUI that is designed to be a graphical,
easy-to-use application that gathers the necessary information for configuration.
The WebUI may be accessed through two methods:
■ Through auto discovery mode using the RapidLaunch utility
■ By host name
The NAS b2000 v2 includes a RapidLaunch CD that can run on any
Windows-based PC using Internet Explorer 5.5 (or later).
The following items are required to run the WebUI configuration application:
Windows-based PC loaded with Internet Explorer 5.5 (or later) on the same

network segment as the NAS b2000 v2
■ RapidLaunch CD
Note: The NAS b2000 v2 is designed to be deployed without a monitor, keyboard,
and mouse. These ports are available and supported by the NAS device, if used.
