I. Detector malfunction
In the case of detector failure, a yellow LED described as "FAULT" will flash on the front of the
device (every 50 seconds). An "Err" code will appear on the display and non-standard alarm signals will be emitted.
IN THE ABOVE SITUATION THE CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTOR SHOULD BE REPLACED IMMEDIATELY
J. Reaction time of the device
The device continuously monitors the carbon monoxide level, alarm signals will be emitted accordingly to the PPM
values shown on the table below.

The most common carbon monoxide poisoning symptoms include dizziness, fatigue, exhaustion, headache, nausea,
vomiting, drowsiness, and disorientation.
The following are the symptoms and hazards depending on the concentration of carbon monoxide:
35PPM: Maximum safe concentration at which the first symptoms occur after more than 8 hours.
200PPM: Gentle headache, fatigue, dizziness, nausea after 2-3 hours.
400PPM: Headaches within 1-2 hours. Risk of death over 3 hours of exposure.
800PPM: Dizziness and nausea after 45 minutes. Loss of consciousness within 2 hours. Death within 3 hours of exposure.
1600PPM: Dizziness, headaches and nausea within 20 minutes. Death within an hour.
3200PPM: Intense headache and vomiting after 5-10 minutes. Death within 30 minutes
6400PPM: Severe dizziness, headaches and nausea within 1-2 minutes. Death within 20 minutes
12800PPM: Loss of consciousness after 2-3 breaths. Death within 3 minutes of exposure.
