Connection to the PC

The ACCON-NetLink-S7 will be connected to a PC via a hub/switch. A direct connection to a

company network is also possible.

Connect the 9-pin Sub-D plug to the MPI interface of your S7 controller.

After inserting the DELTALOGIC Automatisierungstechnik-CD please start the setup

»SetupAcconS7Net.exe« for the ACCON-S7-NET driver. Located in the following directory

»CD-Drive:\S7Adapter\ACCON-NetLink\S7-Treiber«.

For an installation using Windows 2000 or Windows XP you have to log on as administrator. As

the setup makes entries into the windows registry.

1. Open the SIMATIC PG/PC Interface.

The following points have to be in the dialog »PG/PC Interface«:

- ACCON-S7-NET NL(MPI)

- ACCON-S7-NET NL(PPI)

- ACCON-S7-NET NL(PROFIBUS)

If not,

- Click on the button »Select...« to call the »Install/Remove Interfaces« dialog.

- Choose ACCON-S7-NET NL and install the adapter.

Use »Save to NetLink« to store the settings If you choose a wrong profile when using PROFIBUS, the S7 CPU could be put into stop and bus errors may occur.
