position for 1 to 3 seconds, then turn it to the "CLOSE" position and remove it. In this
way you can program up to 3 keys, by repeating the above operation and respecting
the indicated times.
FINAL PHASE
After having removed the key to be programmed, insert the "MASTER" key again and
turn it to the "ON" position (this operation must be completed within 10 seconds of
removing the previous key). Leave the key in this position for 1 to 3 seconds, then
return it to the "CLOSE" position and remove the key.
CORRECT PROGRAMMING CHECK PHASE
Insert the "MASTER" key, deactivating the transponder "C" (by tipping the key cap
90°), and turn the key to the "ON" position. Perform the engine starter operation. En-
sure that the engine does not start. Insert a programmed key and repeat the start
manoeuvre. Check that engine starts.
WARNING
01_47
SHOULD YOU START THE ENGINE WITH THE MASTER KEY (WITH TRANS-
PONDER OFF) OR IN THE EVENT OF WRONG OPERATION DURING PROGRAM-
MING, REPEAT THE PROCEDURE FROM THE BEGINNING.
