BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME

Clean the espresso maker thoroughly without using detergent
or scouring agents. Once you have cleaned the espresso mak-
er, complete the steps required for preparing espresso twice,
without using espresso powder.
PREPARATION
Unscrew the upper section (F) from the lower section (A) and
remove the funnel (B). Fill the lower section (A) with water, mak-
ing sure that the water remains below the safety valve (E). Fill
the funnel (B) lightly with espresso powder. Make sure that the
filter and rubber gasket (C) at the bottom of the upper section
(F) are correctly positioned. Now screw the upper section (F) se-
curely onto the lower section (A). Place the espresso maker on
your cooker. After approximately 4-5 minutes, the freshly-pre-
pared espresso will rise through the central column (D).
The bottom of the espresso maker is suitable for induction
cookers. The functionality depends on the respective pan
detection function though, which can vary depending on the
used device. If your espresso maker won´t heat up, it does not
represent a defect of our product.
