Requirements:
Introduction
The HON-AUX* adapter allows users t to connect and play any audio device with
a 3.5mm jack to select 1992-98 Honda and select 1992-01 Acura radios. Simply
connect the adapter to the 8-pin CD changer port on the radio and to audio
device and enjoy stored content or music from the internet if using Smartphone.
The HON-AUX replaces factory CD changer or slave CD player (if present)
Installation
Remove the Honda radio from the dash to gain access to the connector.

Disconnect any accessory connected to the 8-pin connector (See Fig.
2.

Connect 8-pin plug (See Fig. 1) to radio or slave cassette (See. Fig. 2)

Connect one end of supplied 3.5mm audio cable (See Fig. 3) to the

input jack on adapter (See Fig. 4) and route other end to the front of
the dash or wherever audio device will reside (within 3 ft.)
