INSTALLATION AND CARE

Precautions regarding the
installation location
Avoid excessively humid and or dry environments and
environments with sudden temperature changes.
Such conditions may result in shrinkage of the wood
materials and finish, leading to deformation of the
enclosure, discoloration, or damage to the speakers.
Avoid installing this unit in the following locations:
 Places exposed to direct sunlight
 Places near heating devices
 Places directly under an air conditioner or where the
unit is exposed directly to blowing air
 Places with poor ventilation and a lot of humidity and dust
Conditions considered unpleasant by humans are
detrimental to speakers as well. Providing a comfortable
environment for the speakers will assist them in
demonstrating their best performance. Please maintain
the usage environment as follows:
Temperature: 15 °C to 25 °C (59 °F to 77 °F)
Relative Humidity: 35 % to 65 % (winter)
40 % to 70 % (summer)
Precautions during installation
 The total weight of this speaker system is 32kg
(70.5 lb). Before installing, confirm that the installation
location is fully capable of supporting this weight
 As the weight of this speaker system is 32kg (70.5 lb),
2 or more persons should install the spike when
installing it by tilting. At the time of installing, take
care not to pinch fingers between the speaker system
and see that speaker system does not fall.
 Avoid touching the front surface of speaker units,
since you may deform or damage the enclosure mesh
or speaker diaphragms.
 Moreover, when spike is used, a load of 10kg (22 lb)
or more is applied per spike and hence traces or dents
may remain at a place where the speaker system has
been installed. To avoid scratches, use supplied spike
receptacle or arrange strong enough standby spike
receptacle with large installation area per spike.
 Using a spike in the speaker system may cause
scratches on the floor while moving it, so remove the
spike and overturn preventing spike before moving
the speaker system.

Installation

Installation on floor or rack
This unit comes with cone shaped spikes, spike receptacles,
non-slip pads, and overturn preventing spikes, so you can choose
the most suitable installation method according to the conditions
of the installation surface. Decide the installation method by
referring to the following matter.
