Battery charging
This trimmer model allows for two ways of charging the battery:
through the power adapter or the «USB» port.
Charging the battery through the power adapter
– Switch the unit off by setting the power switch (3) to the posi-
tion «0».
– Insert the power adapter (6) cord plug into the connection
socket (5).
– Place the trimmer on a flat stable surface.
– Plug the power adapter (6) into the mains socket, the charge
indicator (4) will light up.
– It takes 8 hours for the battery to fully charge; do not exceed
this time to avoid reducing the battery operating life.
– A fully charged battery provides approximately 50 minutes of
continuous operation.
– After the battery is charged, disconnect the power adapter (6)
from the mains and remove the connector from the connec-
tion socket (5), the charge indicator (4) will go out.
Charging the battery through the USB port
– You can also charge the battery by connecting the unit to the
USB port of your PC using the appropriate cable.
– Plug the mini slot of the USB cable into the socket (5), the
USB slot into the corresponding port of your PC, the charge
indicator (4) will light up.
WARNING:
– To ensure a long operating life of the battery, discharge it
completely before each charging cycle.
– Do not charge the battery at temperature below +5° C and
above +35° C.
– If you haven't used the unit for a month or longer, fully charge
the battery before using the trimmer.
– Do not leave the unit connected to the mains unattended.
LUBRICATING THE BLADE BLOCK
Before using the unit for the first time remove the blade block (1)
and lubricate it with oil (not supplied with the unit).
– To remove the blade block (1) rotate it clockwise and detach
from the unit (fig. 1, 2).
– Apply the lubricating oil to the junctions between the fixed and
moving parts of the blades.
– To install the blade block (1) attach it to the unit and rotate
counterclockwise. Ensure that the blade block (1) is installed
and fixated correctly (fig. 3, 4).
– Switch the trimmer on with the switch (3) and let it operate
for approximately 30 seconds to spread the oil across the
rubbing surfaces. Switch the trimmer off with the switch
(3) and remove the excess oil with a dry cloth or a paper
towel.
