die u gebruikt.
1. Inleiding
Via deze 128Kbps Plug en Play ISDN adapter kunt u uw PC aansluiten op iedere
moderne hogesnelheidsadapter. Deze nieuwe ISDN adapter is compatibel met Plug
en Play systemen (PnP), wat de installatie en configuratie erg eenvoudig maakt. In
deze handleiding vindt u aanwijzingen voor het installeren van de ISDN adapter. Op
de meegeleverde cd-rom vindt u aanvullende informatie.

  • Page 1 1. Inleiding Via deze 128Kbps Plug en Play ISDN adapter kunt u uw PC aansluiten op iedere moderne hogesnelheidsadapter. Deze nieuwe ISDN adapter is compatibel met Plug en Play systemen (PnP), wat de installatie en configuratie erg eenvoudig maakt. In deze handleiding vindt u aanwijzingen voor het installeren van de ISDN adapter.

    A: Installatie van de ISDN adapter - interne PCI uitvoering Om de ISDN adapter te kunnen plaatsen, moet u de behuizing van uw PC openen. Doe dit voorzichtig en zorg ervoor dat de PC niet is aangesloten op het lichtnet: sluit Windows af en haal de stekker uit het stopcontact voordat u de kaart installeert.

  • Page 4 Nederlands Installatie onder Windows 98 Zet uw PC aan en start Windows 98. Nadat Windows 98 is opgestart, verschijnt het dialoogvenster ‘Nieuwe hardware’ (Add New Hardware Wizard) – zie onderstaande illustraties. Klik op ‘Volgende’ (Next). PCMCIA-ISDN_CARD/A3000 Selecteer ‘Zoeken naar het beste stuurprogramma…’ (Search for the best driver (Recommended)) en klik op ‘OK’.

Voor de PCI ISDN adapter kiest u ‘D:\Internal\Win98’, (vervang D:\ zo nodig door de letter van uw cd-rom station). Voor de PCMCIA ISDN adapter kiest u de locatie ‘D:\PCMCIA\Win98ME’. Klik na het kiezen van de juiste map op ‘OK’.
  • Page 6 Selecteer ‘Een op te geven locatie’ (Specify a location). Ga vervolgens via ‘Bladeren’ naar de juiste map op de meegeleverde cd-rom met stuurprogramma’s. Voor de PCI ISDN adapter selecteert u: D:\internal\Win98 (vervang D:\ zo nodig door de letter van uw cd-rom station). Voor de PCMCIA adapter selecteert u: D:\PCMCIA\Win98ME.

Klik op ‘Voltooien’ (Finish) om de procedure af te ronden. 4.3 Installatie onder Windows 2000 Zet uw PC aan en start Windows Windows 2000.   • Page 10 Nederlands Klik op ‘MSN List’. Vul een van uw MSN nummers in (9 cijfers zonder de eerste 0 van het netnummer). Klik op ‘Add’ (Toevoegen) en vervolgens twee keer op ‘OK’.

Selecteer het MSN nummer dat u in stap 3 hebt toegevoegd en klik op ‘OK’. Voor ‘ISDNDevice-00-Line02’ volgt u dezelfde procedure. Klik op ‘OK’.

Klik met de rechter muisknop op ‘ISDN-monitor’ in het systeemvak rechts/onder in de taakbalk. Selecteer ‘Configuration’ – ‘ISDN Device line 01’ en klik op ‘Properties’ (Eigenschappen).
  • Page 14 Nederlands Kruis in dit venster ‘Enable Multilink PPP’ (Multilink PPP inschakelen) aan en klik op ‘Advance (Geavanceerd). Klik op ‘Add’ (Toevoegen) en selecteer ‘ISDNDevice-00-2’. Klik daarna op ‘OK’. Van nu af aan maakt u gebruik van een 128 Kbps verbinding wanneer u naar buiten belt.

    A: Installing the ISDN Adapter - Internal PCI Version To insert the ISDN Adapter, you have to open the case of the computer. Be careful and do not open the case while the computer is connected to the mains. Power down the PC and pull the plug out of the socket before installing the card.

    Find an empty 32-bit PCI expansion slot for the card. Remove the screw that secures the protective cover of the expansion slot. Keep the screw at hand; you will need it again to secure the ISDN adapter. Also keep the cover plate of the slot for future use.

    English Windows 98 Installation Power up the computer and start Windows 98. After Windows 98 has started, the ‘New Hardware Found’ dialog box appears, as shown in the following screen shots. Click ‘Next’. PCMCIA-ISDN_CARD/A3000 Choose ‘Search for the best driver (Recommended)’ and click ‘OK’.

Der Computer darf nicht geöffnet werden, solange er am Stromnetz angeschlossen ist. Schalten Sie den Computer aus und ziehen Sie den Stecker heraus, bevor Sie die Karte installieren.

Klicken Sie mit der rechten Maustaste auf die Ikone. Wählen Sie ‘Configuration’ (Konfiguration) – ‘ISDN Device-00 …..’.(ISDN-Gerät-00)

  • Page 58 Deutsch Öffnen Sie das ‘ISDN Device-00’, indem Sie auf das Plus ( + ) klicken. Wählen Sie das ‘ISDN device-00-Line01’. Klicken Sie auf ‘Properties’ (Eigenschaften). Wählen Sie die MSN-Nummer, die Sie in Schritt 3 eingegeben haben. Klicken Sie auf ‘OK’. Wiederholen Sie den gleichen Vorgang für ‘ISDNDevice-00- Line02’.
  • Page 59 Mal auf ‘OK’, um zum Bildschirm der ‘ISDN-Konfiguration’ zurückzukehren. Öffnen Sie das ‘ISDN Device-00’, indem Sie auf das Plus ( + ) klicken. Öffnen Sie auch POTS/Voice. Wählen Sie den Port 1 unter ‘POTS/voice’ und klicken Sie auf ‘Properties’ (Eigenschaften).
