Maintenance
Installing Filter and Air Inlet Grid:
1. Mounting the gauze: follow the opposite direction of dismantling the
gauze (as shown in Fig. 3 above).
2. Mounting the air inlet grid: as shown in the figure on the right, nip
the locks on the grid as directed by the arrows, the side with the lock
device should be placed into the lock port, and then the side with
locks should be placed into the panel frame. Release the locks to
position the grid after determining that the grid is abutting upon the
bottom of the panel frame.
Cleaning the air outlet port and the shell:
•Don't use gasoline, benzene, diluents, polishing powder or liquid insecticide to clean the
port.
•Do not clean the port using hot water of above 50°C temperature, so as to avoid
discoloration or distortion of the device.
• Wipe with soft dry cloth.
• Water or neutral dry cleanser is recommended to remove dust.
• It is okay to dismantle the wind deflector, while cleaning (explained subsequently).
Cleaning the wind deflector:
• Do not clean the wind deflector using forceful jet of water, so as to avoid discoloration.
Maintenance before and after operating season:
Before operating season:
1. Please ensure that the following parameters are checked:
• There are no blockages in the inlet port and the outlet port of the outdoor and indoor units.
• The ground line and the wiring is functioning well.
In case of an anomaly, an after-sales personnel needs to be consulted.
2. The air cleaner and the shell ought to be cleaned.
• After cleaning, the air cleaner should be installed again before being powered on
After operating season:
1. During hot sunny days, the blowing operation can be limited to half a day, so as to ensure that the inside of
the machine stays dry.
2. Powering off:
• Source of electricity that the machine is connected to should be occasionally powered off to economize
electricity, or the machine will continue to consume electricity.
• Air cleaner and the shell should be mounted after cleaning. Kindly refer to the Maintenance section for
cleaning instructions.
