  • Page 2 1.1 The 3M ™ 4295 FS Pole Mount Cabinet is used specifically for “Walk Up” pole mount applications. It can be used for new construction and for rehabilitation or expansion of frames from existing cabinets because the cabinet has top and bottom split cable ports. Up to 2700 cable pairs of 3M 4220 Self-Strip Termination Blocks can be loaded into the Cabinet.

    4.2 Raise the lifting brackets on the top of the Cabinet and attach a sling to them. Lift it into position with a boom truck. The Top Mounting Bracket supports the Cabinet's hanging weight. 4.3 The Cabinet’s Bottom Brackets use the bracket's slotted holes to make side-to-side, tilt and up and down adjustments as needed.

    Two 3 3/8" and one 2 5/8" Metal Cable Ports are included with the Cabinet. Use the appropriate sized port for the cable(s) in the Cabinet. An optional 4” Metal Cable Port can be ordered if needed. The Kits include a port, sealing tape and a collapsible tube called the 3M Pull-N-Shrink Tube (PST).
  • Page 7 When using 3M ™ 2™ Modules, 3M ™ 4075 or 4077 Series Sealant Boxes or 3M ™ 710 Connectors containing sealants, carefully follow safety, health and environmental information on the label or the Material Safety Data Sheet. 7.7 Secure the Frame in the upright position with the screw at the top of the Frame. Repeat this procedure with the next two Frames and complete the Cabinet splicing.
