Welcome to Tyto This guide walks you through setting up Tyto for the first time and provides a brief overview on how to use it to conduct a comprehensive exam and visit with a clinician from the comfort of home.

Adaptors * Ear caps come in small size (3mm) for small children (age under 3 years old) and large (4mm) for older children and adults. ** Tongue depressor comes in 6cm for children and 8cm for adults.
How to use Turning your Tyto Device on/off To turn the device on, simply press the on/off button located on top of the device. To turn it off, tap the device menu icon select Shutdown. Smartphone stand A smartphone stand is part of the TytoHome kit to help keep your hands free while you conduct exams using your Tyto Device.

Setting up TytoHome Step 1: Download the TytoApp from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) onto your smartphone or tablet. Depending on the telehealth service being used, you may need to download other apps as instructed. Step 2: Sign up for a user account via the TytoApp.

Tyto Exams The Tyto Device can be used to capture and transmit the following types of exams: Lungs, Heart and Heart Rate Exams - To capture and transmit the auscultation data, connect the stethoscope adaptor to the device, place at the indicated body location(s) and verify a good signal is being captured.

Step 2: During the online visit, the clinician controls your Tyto Device remotely and will guide you through the examination process. Step 3: When the clinician completes the online visit, they may send you summary notes which can be found in My Exams along with your examination recordings.
Troubleshooting I cannot pair the TytoApp and the Tyto Device Check that your device is turned on (it can take up to a minute to auto-connect to your app). Check that you are using the correct Wi-Fi password and try pairing again.
