Connections Connecting Earphones to the Player You can attach earphones to the earphones jack for private listening. Two people can listen to the player together by using a Y type Earphone Adapter. How to use earphones • Turn the volume down to the minimum setting before connecting. Insert earphones into the earphones ( Two people can listen to the player by connecting two earphones to a Y type Earphone Adapter, and then attaching the Y type Earphone Adapter to the earphones jack.
Case 1 : Connecting to a TV with an HDMI Cable - Best Quality (Recommended) Using an HDMI cable, connect the HDMI OUT terminal on the side of the player to the HDMI IN terminal of your TV. Turn on the player and TV. Press the input selector on your TV remote control until the HDMI signal from the player appears on your TV screen.
Connections Case 2 : Connecting to a TV with Audio/Video cables - Good Quality Using Audio/Video cables, connect the AV OUT (yellow) terminals on the side of the player to the VIDEO IN (yellow) / AUDIO IN (red and white) terminals of your TV. Turn on the player and TV.
Connecting an External Digital Component (Amplifier) Connect the OPTICAL OUT terminal on the side of the product to the Digital input of the external digital component (amplifier) using a digital optical cable. Turn on the player, TV, and amplifier. Press the input select button of the amplifier to select the external input and hear sound from the player.
