CD-ROM Drive
You can use an optional CD-ROM drive* with your notebook computer to read CD-
ROMs, Audio CDs, CD Extras and Video CDs.

The procedures for connecting the CD-ROM drive may vary, depending on the CD-
ROM drive.
See the manual supplied with your CD-ROM drive for more information on use.
To enjoy audio CDs, you need to connect the optional PCGA-CD51 CD-ROM drive.
To play an audio CD with the PCGA-CD5 CD-ROM drive*, connect headphones or
external speakers to your CD-ROM drive and change the settings as below:
1> Click the Start button, select Settings and click Control Panel;
2> Click the Multimedia icon
3> Click the Music CD tab and make sure the "Enable digital CD audio for this CD-
ROM device" box is unchecked.
* You can purchase the Sony PCGA-CD5 or PCGA-CD51 CD-ROM drive as accessory. For more
