If messages appear on the screen, check the following. See the page in parentheses for details.
Subjects Indications
Battery Use the "InfoLITHIUM" battery pack.
Battery level is low.
Old battery. Use a new one.
Z Re-attach the power source.
Moisture % Z Moisture condensation. Eject the cassette
condensation
% Moisture condensation. Turn off for 1H.
Cassette/tape Q Insert a cassette.
Z Reinsert the cassette.
Q Z The tape is locked - check the tab.
Q The tape has reached the end.
Use a cassette with Cassette Memory.
Charging... Cannot record still images.
Others Cannot record due to copyright protection.*
Cannot add audio. Disconnect the i.LINK cable.
Not recorded in SP mode. Cannot add audio.
Not recorded in 12-bit audio. Cannot add audio.
Cannot add audio on the blank portion of a tape.
Cassette Memory is full.
