Safety

Important and RoHS regulations
Please carefully read and understand all instructions
for safe operation before use. Any damage caused by
failure to follow the instructions will not be covered
by the warranty.

Safety precautions
Warning: Excessive use may cause damage to
eyesight.
Precautions:
• You should take a 10-minute break for every 30
minutes of use
• Children under the age of 2 should not look at the
screen and those over the age of 2 should not look at
the screen for more than 1 hour per day.
Technical specifications for low-power radio
frequency equipment
Without approval, businesses, shops or users are not
permitted to change the frequency, increase the
power or change the original design characteristics
and functions of the low-power RF equipment
certified by inspection. The use of low-power radio
frequency equipment must not affect flight safety or
interfere with lawful communications. If any
interference is discovered, it should be stopped
immediately and improved to ensure no interference
before continuing use. The aforementioned lawful
communication refers to radio communication
operated in accordance with the provisions of the
Telecommunications Management Act. Low-power
radio frequency equipment must withstand
interference from lawful communications or electrical
equipment used for radio wave radiation in industrial,
scientific and medical applications.
Wireless information transmission equipment
operating in the 5.25–5.35 GHz frequency band is
limited to indoor use only.
Avoid interfering with the operation of nearby radar
systems.
High-gain directional aerials can only be used in fixed
point-to-point systems.
Risk of Electric Shock or Fire
• Do not expose the display to rain or water.
• Do not place liquid containers, such as vases, near
the display. If liquid is spilt on or into the display,
immediately unplug the power cord from the wall
socket. Contact the customer service centre to have
the display checked before using again.
• Do not expose the display, remote control or
batteries to high temperatures, or let them come
close to burning candles, fire or other heat sources,
including direct sunlight.
• Do not insert objects into the display vents or other
openings.
• Do not place heavy objects on the power cable.
• Avoid subjecting the power plug to external forces.
Loose power plugs can cause arcing or fire. When you
turn the display, make sure that the power cable is
not strained.
• To disconnect the display from the mains power,
unplug the display power cable. When unplugging
the power cable, always pull the plug and never the
cable. Ensure that the power plug, power cable and
wall socket are readily accessible at all times.
Risk of Injury or Damage to the
Display
• Two people are required to lift and carry a display
that weighs more than 25 kg or 55 lbs.
• If you mount the display on a stand, only use the
supplied stand. Secure the stand to the display
tightly.
Place the display on a flat, level surface that can
support the weight of the display and the stand.
• When wall mounted, ensure that the wall mount can
safely bear the weight of the display set. TP Vision
bears no responsibility for improper wall mounting
that results in accident, injury or damage.
