- Page 3 13. Installation Choose a suitable location against a wall for the Porter, making sure that the power cable will not be tripped over, pulled or come into contact with hot surfaces. Lock all four wheel brakes (by pressing down on the levers) to stabilise the Porter. Lift chosen panel carefully onto the Porter.
